The Value of Print in a Digital World

The view of printing is changing and in some cases for the better; it is something worth looking at.

Airbnb a popular website for people look to rent lodging just distributed 18,000 copies of a quarterly magazine called Pineapple. This is interesting, a digital property going traditional print. “Nothing communicates premium and [that message of] ‘we value you’ like print,” says Kim Caviness, chief content officer at McMURRY/TMG. “Basically, you’re taking a very powerful digital experience and then personalizing it and taking it to that next level of engagement.”

Whatever you are printing take the time to make sure that you have a quality message that is clear. Write something that is worth saving or communicating.

Direct mail response is made up of three factors 1. List or Audience, 2. Message and 3. The Offer. The value of print is going up in this digital world!

If you have a quality message, print is a great way to get the message out and acquire new customers or maintain relationships with existing customers letting them know that they are important to you.

While we all may be able to attend events virtually one day, nothing will replace actually being there. Good luck creating great print!
